Cadaqués

Cadaqués is a name inextricably linked to the Mediterranean and some of the most renowned beaches and coves on the Costa Brava; to the stunning landscape of the Cap de Creus Natural Park; to the peacefulness of a place that has managed to retain its fishing town character; and to important artists and intellectuals for whom it has been a paradise of inspiration, such as the surrealist genius of Empordà, Salvador Dalí. If you visit Cadaqués, on a day trip or for longer, the name of this town will be forever linked to you as well.

Museu Dalí, Figueres.

Inaugurated in 1974, the Dalí Theatre-Museum rises on the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres and is considered to be the last great work of Salvador Dalí. Everything in it was conceived and designed by the artist so as to offer visitors a real experience and draw them into his unique and captivating world.

The Dalí Theatre-Museum's collection allows the visitors to capture the artistic journey of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) through a broadspectrum of works. The route around the rooms allows visitors to capture his first artistic experiences, surrealism, nuclear mysticism and his passion for science, guiding them tothe works of the last part of his life.

Barcelona

Parc Güell

No work by Gaudí better encapsulates the complete and perfect harmony of nature and architecture than Barcelona’s Park Güell. Initially designed as an English-style garden-city – hence the name Park – it eventually became Barcelona’s most unusual public park.Gaudí’s characteristic vivid imagination is revealed in the different elements that amaze visitors from around the world that visit Barcelona. The gatehouses, which were originally designed as the caretaker’s house, are now home to the Park Güell Interpretation Centre. The flight of steps, with its famous dragon covered in coloured broken-ceramic pieces, leads to the hypostyle hall, an impressive space comprising 86 columns which underpins the plaza above. The curving bench around the perimeter of the plaza was designed by Jujol, one of Gaudí’s associates in the construction of this unique park in the old village of Gràcia which has been declared a World Heritage Site.

Sagrada Familia

The area known as Poblet was once a neighbourhood of fields and low-rise houses. During the 19th century, factories were set up here, fostering the growth of the area. It was here, in 1881, that building work commenced on the church of atonement for the citizens of this expanding city.
In 1882, the original Sagrada Família Gothic church project, designed by Francesc de Paula Villar, was taken over by the young Antoni Gaudí, who transformed it into the most fascinating church of all time. An architectural bible called the Sagrada Família which has become a Barcelona icon. The building, which is still under construction, has lent its name to the area and made it world famous. After all, the Sagrada Família is a vibrant neighbourhood with its own unique personality.

Circuit de Catalunya.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is one of the world’s most modern circuits which meets every requirement to host the most outstanding motor-racing competitions, as Formula 1 and MotoGP Grand Prix. On the tour you can relive the excitement of the competitions and discover, at first hand, every area of the circuit.

Montserrat

One-day trip to the holy mountain of Montserrat, with its monastery dating back almost 1,000 years, and Gaudí’s crypt in the Colònia Güell, which was awarded World Heritage Site status in 2005. A tour from Barcelona which includes nature, spirituality and architecture. The second stop is the mountain and Benedictine monastery of Montserrat, which was founded in the 11th century, located in a natural park 60 kilometres outside Barcelona.
